Udon Ent. Brings History of Sonic the Hedgehog Book to N. America

Manga and book publisher Udon Entertainment announced on Monday that it will release an English version of The History of Sonic the Hedgehog. The 300-page retrospective on Sega's famous blue hedgehog already hit shelves in France last year.
Pix'n Love partnered with SEGA of Japan to create the tome which covers every game the character has appeared in, along with promotional and concept art. The hardback book will be available in September for the retail price of US$49.99.
Sonic first debuted in his self-titled Sega game in 1991 for the Sega Genesis console. He has since appeared in platform, racing, sports, arcade, and educational games, as well as the anime series Sonic X, Sonic the Hedgehog manga, and a long-running comic series by Archie Comics.
