Sentai Filmworks Licenses Kokoro Connect TV Anime

The North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Monday that it has licensed the Kokoro Connect television anime series. The company will release the series digitally with a home video release to follow next year.
Crunchyroll will stream the series in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Central and South America. The series will premiere in Japan on July 7.
The teen comedy based on Sadanatsu Anda's light novels follows the strange phenomena at the Yamahoshi Academy's Culture Club, starting with the five male and female club members switching bodies with each other. K-ON! and Lucky Star anime's character designer Yukiko Horiguchi illustrates the novel volumes.
Shin Oonuma (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, Dusk maiden of Amnesia) will serve as head director for the series, while Shinya Kawatsura (Durarara!!, Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru 2 ~Futari no Elder~) will be the assistant director. Fumihiko Shimo (Clannad, Infinite Stratos) will be in charge of series composition, and Toshifumi Akai (Sound of the Sky) will design the characters.
The series stars Takahiro Mizushima (Taichi Yaegashi), Aki Toyosaki (Iori Nagase), Takuma Terashima (Yoshifumi Aoki), and Hisako Kanemoto (Yui Kiriyama), and Miyuki Sawashiro (Himeko Inaba).
