Good Smile Company Moves to Tokyo Skytree Tower Complex
posted on by Egan Loo
Figure maker Good Smile Company announced on Wednesday that it is moving its offices from Matsudo City to the 17th floor of the Tokyo Skytree tower complex as of July 3. Matsudo had been the home of Good Smile Company since its founding in 2001.
Within the past year, the company has become more heavily involved in anime and games by co-founding Ultra Super Pictures and Conteride. It also became a "public company" ("kabushiki gaisha") on May 1.
The 634-meter-tall tower opened to the public in May as the second tallest structure in the world. Various collaborative goods such as K-ON! desk mats (pictured left) marked the tower's grand opening.
Good Smile Company had closed its Good Smile Cafe branch in Matsudo on May 31.
