Adaptation of game to be penned by Tatsuya Shihira, run in Ultra Jump
A recent image has revealed that the upcoming Robotics;Notes game will be receiving a manga adaptation titled Robotics;Notes / Frau Side in Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine beginning with the magazine's September issue, which is released on August 18. The adaptation will be drawn by Tatsuya Shihira (13club).
The "scientific adventure" series is set in a future world with realistic augmented reality technology. It follows a robotics club in danger of being disbanded. The console game will be released on June 28, and a television anime adaptation of the game produced by Production I.G will premiere during Fuji TV's Noitamina late-night television time slot in October.
