Attack on Titan Manga Previewed in English

The MTV Geeks website has posted a 12-page preview in English of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga. Kodansha USA
will release the first volume of the manga in North America on Tuesday.
MTV Geeks has also posted an interview with Isayama. The interview, which was originally published in the December 2010 issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, will also be included as an extra in the first volume of the English edition. In the interview, Isayama discusses why he became a manga artist, which other manga artists he respects, how far ahead he's thought out the plot for Attack on Titan, and what manga has had the most influence on him.
Hajime Isayama launched Attack on Titan in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009. The story follows the life of humans after giants suddenly appear and take over the entire world. To keep out these invading Titans who eat humans for food, the humans erect huge walls — but at the cost of their freedom in the outside world.
The manga has become a sleeper hit, selling more than 5.5 million copies since 2010. The seventh volume shipped in April, and Kodansha confirmed that a film adaptation will open in Japan in fall of 2013.
