Toriko Chiya to Launch Clover trèfle Manga Sequel
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Manga creator Toriko Chiya (Clover, Tokyo Alice) will launch the Clover trèfle sequel manga in the August issue of Shueisha's Cocohana magazine on June 28. The new series will again follow the relationship between office workers Saya and Tsuge.
The original manga series centers on a 21-year-old office lady (OL) named Saya Suzuki. Saya never forgets the boy she liked in middle school, so she isn't interested in romantic relationships. However, this lack of interest begins to dissolve when Saya's supervisor Susumu Tsuge suddenly confesses his love.
The first Clover romance manga debuted in Shueisha's Bouquet magazine in 1997. Shueisha's Chorus began serializing the story in 2006 before the magazine changed its name to Cocohana last year.
