F.Y.E., Suncoast Video Chains' Parent Reports Q1 Profit

Retail news source ICv2 reported on Tuesday that Trans World Entertainment, which operates 400 F.Y.E. and Suncoast stores, recorded a $2.8 million profit in its first quarter. Trans World Entertainment began seeing profit in 2011 again, making the year its first profitable one since 2006. The gain is compared to a nearly equal $2.5 million loss for last year's first quarter.
