Anpanman's Banana Island Anime Film Trailer Streamed

24th film starring pastry-head hero to open on July 7
The Cinema Today website began streaming the 100-second trailer for the Soreike! Anpanman Yomigaere Bananajima (Fly! Anpanman: Revive Banana Island!) film on Wednesday. The titular hero, who has a bean-paste pastry (anpan) for a head, must join his allies and stop the dastardly Baikinman from ruining Banana Island.
The film is paired with an Anpanman anime short, "Rhythm de Te-Asobi: Anpanman to Fushigi na Parasol" (Playtime Set to Rhythm: Anapanman and the Mysterious Parasols). The two anime will open in Japan on July 7.
