The official website for the Kuroko's Basketball (Kuroko no Basuke) television anime series began streaming a 30-second television commercial for the series on Tuesday. The commercial features GRANRODEO's opening theme song "Can Do."
Kuroku's Basketball, which adapts Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Weekly Shonen Jump manga, stars Taiga Kagami (played by Yūki Ono) who has just enrolled into Seirin High School where he meets Tetsuya Kuroko (Kenshō Ono) of the school's basketball team. Kuroko happens to be the shadowy sixth member of the legendary "Generation of Miracles" basketball team. Together, Kagami and Kuroko aim to take their team to the inter-high school championship — against Kuroko's former teammates.
Crunchyroll announced earlier on Thursday that it will stream the series as it airs starting on April 7 at 2:30 p.m. EDT. Kuroko's Basketball will available to the website's users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
