Proof-of-concept demo shows potential for people with disabilities
Nojima Laboratory at Tokyo's University of Electro-Communications demonstrated the use of Microsoft's Kinect motion sensor to enable people to interact with a computer with their tongues. Unlike similar interfaces for people with disabilities, the Kinect method is more hygenic as it does not require people to attached anything to their tongues.
Nojima Laboratory used a rudimentary shooting game as a proof-of-concept of this interface.
