Binbō-gami ga! Anime Slated for Summer

The Japanese publisher Shueisha has revealed that the television anime adaptation of Yoshiaki Sukeno's Binbō-gami ga! comedy manga will begin airing this summer. The story revolves around Ichiko Sakura, a girl whose blissful life comes from her bountiful "happiness energy" — gained by sapping that energy from other people. To restore the balance, the Binbō-gami (Poverty God) Momiji Binbada attempts to eliminate her. Sunrise registered the domain "binbogamiga.net" in February.
The manga began in the main Jump Square magazine in 2008, and the 12th compiled book volume is shipping on April 4.
