Shout! Factory Signs Power Rangers Home Video Deal

The production company Saban Brands has signed a new American home video deal with Shout! Factory for more than 700 episodes of the Power Ranger franchise from 1993-2009. Power Rangers Samurai, which premiered on Nickelodeon last year, was not included in the negotiation.
Also included in the pact are VR Troopers, Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation and Beetleborgs. Shout! Factory possesses several digital distribution rights to these series and will soon be sub-licensing them. The home video releases are expected to begin this summer.
