Zero Escape Writer Suggests "Solid" Possibility of Sequel
posted on by Ko Ransom
On Tuesday, game writer and director Kōtarō Uchikoshi (Ever17, 999: Nine Hours, Nine Doors, Nine Persons) Tweeted that due to the highly positive reaction to Chunsoft's Nintendo 3DS/PlayStation Vita game Kyokugen Dasshutsu ADV: Zennin Shibō Desu (Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward) on Twitter and blogs, he feels that there is "solid movement toward making a sequel a reality."
The puzzle-solving, visual-novel suspense game Zero Escape, itself a sequel to Chunsoft's 999, shipped in Japan on February 16 and sold almost 16,000 copies in its first week. It will be released in North America by Aksys in both packaged and downloadable editions by year's end.
