The end of the eleventh chapter of Usumaru Furuya's prequel manga Bokura no Hikari Club (Our Light Cub) revealed that the manga's last chapter will be published on March 15. (Note: The above link is not safe for work.)
Bokura no Hikari Club is being published online in Ohta Publishing's PocoPoco web manga magazine. Furuya launched the manga last April with the lauch of PocoPoco. The story tells the hidden past of the boys who make up the light club. Ohta published the first volume of the manga in print form in December.
Furuya's original Lychee Light Club one-volume manga originally ran in Ohta Publishing's Manga Erotics F magazine from 2005 to 2006. The North American manga publisher Vertical released the manga in April 2011. The original manga's story revolves around nine students at an all-boys school who create a god-like Lychee machine — that runs on lychee fruits — to seek out the beautiful women of the world. However, the machine eventually becomes self-aware "and is soon equally capable of measuring beauty and executing justice."
