Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney Includes Animation by Bones

Akihiro Hino, president and CEO of the game developer Level-5, announced on Saturday that the upcoming crossover game Layton-kyōju vs. Gyakuten Saiban (Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney) will include animation sequences by the studio BONES (Fullmetal Alchemist, Eureka Seven, Darker than Black, Wolf's Rain). Hino made the announcement at CAPCOM's special 10th anniversary Gyakuten Saiban event on Sunday, and he previewed an animation clip from the game. In the clip, Ryuichi Naruhodo (Phoenix Wright) and Mayoi Ayasato (Maya Fey) are heading off on an airplane to parts unknown, where a mysterious building can be seen. The Japanese website Gamer posted screenshots from the clip.
The game will ship on the Nintendo 3DS system this year. Level-5 showed an earlier promotional video at Tokyo Game Show last Sepember.
