Chi's Sweet Home/Kobato's Masuhara Directs Shirokuma Café

The March issue of Shogakukan's women's magazine Monthly Flowers announced the staff for the previously revealed Shirokuma Café (Polar Bear Café) anime. Director Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Chi's Sweet Home, Kobato.) is adapting Aloha Higa's original manga at the anime studio Pierrot. Toru Hosokawa (Coji-Coji) is in charge of the scripts. The anime will premiere this April.
The gag comedy follows the daily life of penguins, grizzly bears, and other animals at a café run by a polar bear.
