Milk Morinaga Ends Kuchibiru Tameiki Sakurairo, Plans New Manga
posted on by Egan Loo
Manga creator Milk Morinaga ended her yuri manga Kuchibiru Tameiki Sakurairo (Kisses, Sighs, and Cherry Blossom Pink) in the February issue of Futabasha's Comic High! magazine on Saturday, but she will start a new series in the June issue. Kuchibiru Tameiki Sakurairo recounted different stories of romance between high school girls. The series ran in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine, but moved to Comic High! last September to complete the remaining unfinished stories. Two more compiled book volumes will ship simultaneously in April.
The February issue of Comic High! also launched Kazumi Mitsuki's Yume Yume Utsutsu (Dream Dream Reality) manga. The romantic horror story centers around two girls of the same age: Yuiko, who lost her older brother to suicide, and her cousin Mikako who starts living at Yuiko's home one summer. Mikako has a secret, and the two girls share a strange experience revolving around a "black butterfly" specimen.
Seven Seas Entertainment announced last November that it will release Morinaga's yuri manga Girl Friends in North America this year.
