PS3, PSP, PS Vita Move 6.5 Million Units in 2011's Final Weeks

Sony Computer Entertainment sold 6.5 million PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS Vita units during the last several weeks of 2011. Specifically, the company sold 3.9 million PlayStation 3s, 1.6 million PSPs, and 500,000 PS Vitas. The number covers sales in Japan and Asia from November 21, 2011 to January 5, 2012; in North America from November 21 to December 31; and in Europe from November 18 to December 31.
