Acchi Kocchi Romantic Comedy Anime's Cast Revealed

The February issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine revealed the cast for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Ishiki's Acchi Kocchi (Place to Place) romantic comedy manga on Tuesday:

• Rumi Ookubo (Yuruyuri's Chinatsu) as Tsumiki Miniwa
• Nobuhiko Okamoto (Blue Exorcist's Rin) as Io Otonashi
• Kaori Fukuhara (A-Channel's Run) as Hime Haruno
• Hitomi Nabatame (Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu's Ruko) as Mayoi Katase
• Shintarō Asanuma (Seitokai Yakuindomo's Takatoshi) as Sakaki Inui

The story of the original four-panel manga follows a tsundere (initially aloof and abrasive) girl named Tsumiki, the most unsociable eyeglasses-wearing boy named Io, and their classmates.

The anime will premiere on the TBS and BS-TBS stations this April. As revealed last month, director Fumitoshi Oizaki (Astarotte's Toy, Romeo × Juliet) leads the staff at the anime studio AIC.
