'Comic Artist and His Assistants' Anime Not Announced on Latest Jacket

Manga creator Hiroyuki (Doujin Work) confirmed on Saturday that the eighth volume of The Comic Artist and His Assistants (Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to) manga series is not announcing an anime adaptation. Instead, the band notes that his manga was ranked #1 in survey of which Young Gangan magazine manga that people hoped would get adapted into anime.
Hiroyuki had posted an earlier image of the jacket band on Friday, but deliberately obscured all of the text except for the word "anime adaptation." The volume will officially ship on December 24.
