New Lupin III Special's TV Ad Posted

Japan's NTV network recently began airing a 27-second television commercial for the upcoming Lupin III: Chi no Kokuin Eien no Mermaid (Lupin III: Blood Seal Eternal Mermaid) television special.
The Japanese television network NTV confirmed with ANN in October that the television project would be a special which would air during NTV's traditional "Friday Roadshow" timeslot for movies and specials. Lupin III: Chi no Kokuin Eien no Mermaid will air on during the timeslot on December 2 at 9:00 p.m. NTV had announced the new project with an advertisement on April 29 that said "new TV series"; NTV has been running an irregular series of two-hour television specials since 1989.
For the first time in 16 years, the Lupin III voice cast will change for the action franchise'sfirst special in 22 months. The new roles include Kouichi Yamadera as Inspector Zenigata, Daisuke Namikawa as Goemon Ishikawa, and Miyuki Sawashiro as Fujiko Mine. Kanichi Kurita and Kiyoshi Kobayashi will retain their roles of Lupin III and Daisuke Jigen, respectively. The last change in the voice cast happened in 1995, when Yasuo Yamada — the first voice actor for the title character — passed away.
