Ran Igarashi's sister-complex comedy follows boy with older sister unrelated by blood
Advertising from Kadokawa Shoten has revealed that an anime adaptation of Ran Igarashi's Hōzuki-san Chi no Aneki four-panel manga is in the works. The "abnormal sister-complex comedy" follows Gorō Hōzuki, a high school boy with an older sister named Haru who is unrelated by blood. Gorō is mortified when the self-centered and lustful Haru plays pranks on him.
Igarashi launched the manga in Young Ace magazine in 2009, and the manga now runs in 4-Koma Ace magazine. The fourth compiled volume will ship on December 13.
