MBS Delays Horizon, Ben-To Airings 1 Week Due to Soccer
posted on by Egan Loo
The official Twitter account of the Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere anime series confirmed on Sunday that the anime will not air on the Osaka-area station MBS at 26:58 a.m. this Saturday (effectively 2:58 a.m. next Sunday). According to MBS, a J. League soccer game will air instead.
Afer the one-week break, episodes 9 and 10 will air together next week. However, the online streams of Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere will still run at their usually scheduled times in Japan. Other stations usually run the anime a few days after MBS.
The online MBS schedule also has Ben-To being preempted this Saturday; Ben-To normally airs on MBS right after Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, before other stations air it.
Sentai Filmworks licensed Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, and The Anime Network is streaming it in North America.
