Jewelpet Twinkle Fan Disc F to Have New Animated Music Video

The official Twitter account for the Jewelpet Twinkle DVD Boxset announced on Thursday that a new fan disc for the Jewelpet Twinkle television anime series, titled Jewelpet Twinkle Fan Disc Fc will include a new animated music video. The video will be a brand-new music video for the series' opening theme song "Happy Twinkle." Series director Takashi Yamamoto will also direct the new video.
This is the second fan disc that Sanrio and Sega will release. The fan disc, which comes with two DVDs, will include four episodes from the series with commentary. It will also include a CD with music from the second half of the series, a booklet titled "Akari-chan's Diary," and replicas of Yukiko Ibe's autographed character designs from the series. Those who buy the fan disc can apply to receive a Jewelpet Twinkle mini pillow.
The fan disc will be released on January 16 (which coincides with the birthday of the series' character Miria) and will retail for 5,040 yen (about US$65).
The 52-episode Jewelpet Twinkle television anime series ran from 2010-2011.
