JManga, a platform for reading legal manga online, added Isaku Natsume's Dash! manga and East Press' manga adaptation of Osamu Dezai's No Longer Human novel on Tuesday. Both titles are now available for 899 points with a free preview.
Digital Manga previously published a print version of Natsume's Dash! boys-love manga in 2007. JManga is also publishing Natsume's No Color manga.
East Press' manga version of Dazai's No Longer Human novel was commissioned as a part of the Manga de Dokuha guide series. Other famous literary works in the Manga de Dokuha guide series from East Press include Karl Marx's Das Kapital, Dante's Divine Comedy, Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov and Crime and Punishment, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Faust, Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis, and Niccolò Machiavelli's The Prince, among others.
The manga publisher Vertical is releasing Usamaru Furuya's manga adaptation of No Longer Human.
JManga also revealed on Tuesday it is continuing its October sale through November. The website also revealed on Wednesday it is working on an app for Android devices in addition to an iPad app.
JManga launched on August 17 with numerous titles never before available in the United States, some of which have become available for purchase. The site listed 29 new titles by August 30, listed two more titles in September, and added six more titles in October.
