Manabi Straight Anime's Last Episode Reshot for BD

King Records' Starchild label announced on Thursday that a Blu-ray Disc edition of the Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! anime has been green-lit. The final episode will be reshot, from filming to CG work, using the latest technology. All of the episodes will be presented in full high-definition after the anime studio ufotable's photography team re-composites the scenes from the original preserved color data and photography data.
Starchild will provide more details about the release in the near future, and there will be a "Manabi Straight! Time" event with voice actress Ai Nonaka (Mika Inamori) at the Machi Asobi Vol. 7 festival at Tokushima on October 9. The slice-of-life school anime aired for 12 episodes in Japan in 2007.
