Mirai Nikki/Future Diary Anime's Commercial Posted

The official website for the Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) television anime series began streaming at 15-second commercial for the series on Sunday. The anime is an adaptation of Sakae Esuno's Future Diary manga. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 9 on TV and on the Nico Nico Douga website.
Naoto Hosoda (Shuffle!, Koe de Oshigoto!) is directing the anime at the anime studio asread. Katsuhiko Takayama (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, Cat Planet Cuties) is supervising the series scripts, and Hidetsugu Hirayama (Shuffle!, Shuffle! Memories) is designing the characters with Ruriko Watanabe. The cast is as follows:
Misuzu Togashi as Yukiteru Amano
Tomosa Murata as Yuno Gasai
Mai Aizawa as Minene Uryū
Manami Honda as Muru-Muru
Anime on Demand will stream the series in the U.K.
The manga already inspired a "pilot" anime that came bundled with the 11th manga volume on a premium anime DVD last December. Tokyopop licensed the manga in North America and released 10 volumes before it shut down its North American publishing operations. The manga can currently be read on the JManga website. The 12th and final volume of the manga shipped in Japan in April.
