posted on by Egan Loo
The October issue of Shogakukan's Petit Comic magazine announced on Thursday that Yuki Yoshihara is ending her Chocolate Girl manga in the next issue on October 8. The romantic comedy follows the relationship between a negative-thinking entertainment manager named Kyōko and Riku Tezuka, a stern actor whom Kyōko meets while scouting new talent. Yoshihara launched the manga just last year, and the second compiled book volume shipped this past May.
Viz Media is publishing the eighth and final volume of Yoshihara's Butterfly, Flowers manga in North America this week.
Tomu Ohmi (Anata ni Hana o Sasagemashō, Midnight Secretary) will launch a new manga series called Majo no Biyaku (Witch's Potion) in the November issue of Petit Comic. In the story, Kaoruko runs a small herb shop after losing both of her parents when she was young. One day, a mysterious man dressed in all black enters the shop. Kaoruko is about to discover the true nature of this man named Kaname Hibiki.
