Yuki Kure Starts New La Corda D'Oro Manga in September

The October issue of Hakusensha's LaLa shōjo manga magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Yuki Kure will launch her Linden Hall no Aria -Kin-iro no Corda Series- (Linden Hall Aria: La Corda d'Oro Series) manga in the next issue on September 24. The new manga will center around Kanade, the heroine of the La Corda D'Oro 3 game, and her relationships with the school orchestra members and the boys at her Linden Hall and other dormitories.
Kure created the manga adaptation of KOEI's first La Corda d'Oro dating simulation game, and she just ended that earlier manga this year. Viz Media will publish the 14th of 17 La Corda d'Oro manga volumes in North America in September. The game franchise also inspired a television anime series in 2006, and a sequel, La Corda D'Oro ~secondo passo~, aired in spring of 2009.
Sorata Akiduki (Seishun Kōryaku-bon) will also move her Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (The Red-Haired Snow White Princess) fantasy romance manga series from LaLa DX magazine to the main LaLa magazine in the November issue. The story follows a red-haired girl named Shirayuki who runs away after being arranged as the concubine of her country's prince. While escaping through the forest of a nearby kingdom, she meets a boy named Zen — who happens to be a prince of that kingdom. Akiduki launched the manga in 2006, and the sixth volume is shipping next month.
The October issue of LaLa will publish the final chapter of Shinobu Amano's Last Game manga and Kei Kawaguchi's one-shot manga "Maō Voice," and it will bundle a Natsume's Book of Friends deck of playing cards. Readers can also mail away for Natsume's Book of Friends' Nyanko-sensei blanket for 1,300 yen (about US$17).
