Nico Nico Launches Adult Still-Frame Service in Japan

The Japanese site Nico Nico announced on Thursday that it launched an adult version of Nico Nico Seiga, the online still-frame counterpart to its Nico Nico Douga video-streaming service. In explaining the reasoning for the new Nico Nico Shunga service, the staff said it has been difficult maintaining the balance between freedom of expression and community standards.
