2012 Doraemon Film Revealed with Trailer

The official website for the Doraemon anime films launched a page for the 2012 film and began streaming a trailer on Friday. Doraemon: Nobita to Kiseki no Shima ~Animal Adventure~ (Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles ~Animal Adventure~) will open in March 2012; a new Doraemon film has opened in Japan nearly every year during Japan's spring vacation.
Kôzô Kusuba (Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Uchū Kaitakushi, Doraemon: Nobita to Midori no Kyojin Den) is directing off a screenplay writen by Higashi Shimizu (Crying Freeman, Futari wa Pretty Cure, Kaidan Restaurant). The film has Doraemon, Dorami and Nobita traveling to a "last paradise" when extinct animals were still alive.
2012 will also celebrate 100 years before the birth of Doraemon. In the story, Doraemon was created on September 3, 2112.
