Comedy about man who loses memories, becomes referee for female pro wrestling
The August issue of Shogakukan's Gessan (Monthly Shonen Sunday) magazine is announcing on Tuesday that a live-action television adaptation of Takao Aoyagi's Koko ga Uwasa no El Palacio manga has been green-lit for this fall on TV Tokyo. In this comedy, a man loses his memories in a traffic accident and ends up as a referee for El Palacio — a female professional wrestling team.
Aoyagi launched the manga in Gessan (Monthly Shonen Sunday) in 2009, and Shogakukan published three compiled book volumes so far.
