Space Pirate Captain Harlock 3D Pilot's Clips Posted

The French news channel BFM TV posted clips from the 2010 3D pilot that Toei Animation produced for its planned computer-graphics remake of Leiji Matsumoto's Space Pirate Captain Harlock manga and anime franchise. Matsumoto and Toei brought the pilot to Annecy, the world's largest animation film festival, in France last week.
Mobile Suit Gundam UC author Harutoshi Fukui, Appleseed director Shinji Aramaki, Appleseed mechanical designer Atsushi Takeuchi, and Ninja Scroll character designer Yutaka Minowa worked on the new Space Pirate Captain Harlock pilot with Sega Sammy Visual Entertainment.
The pilot with the same footage premiered at last year's Tokyo International Anime Fair. However, due to the strict no-photography policy at Toei's enclosed viewing area at the event last year, BFM TV's clip is the most extensive look at the pilot online.
Toei Animation had initially planned to release the 3D remakes of Space Pirate Captain Harlock and its robot anime series Daikuu Maryuu Gaiking in 2012, but it now lists a tentative target date of 2013.
