La Corda D'Oro ~primo passo~ Box to Add Multiple Endings

The official website of the La Corda D'Oro - primo passo television anime series announced on Tuesday that a DVD box of the anime will ship on November 23 with multiple endings from director Kōjin Ochi.
The 29,400-yen (about US$359) DVD box will include all 25 television episodes and the DVD-exclusive special edition episode. As a bonus video extra, the box will include multiple endings with new animated sequences, in which the heroine wins the heart of each of seven male characters (Tsukimori, Tsuchiura, Shimizu, Hihara, Yunoki, Kanazawa, Ōsaki). The DVDs will also have jackets illustrated by character designer Maki Fujioka and a deluxe booklet.
The 2006 television anime adapted the first La Corda d'Oro game from KOEI's Neo Romance line of female-oriented dating simulation games, which also includes Angelique and Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time-. The story takes place in an academy where a girl named Kahoko receives a magical violin to compete in the school's elite music program.
A sequel, La Corda D'Oro ~secondo passo~, aired in Spring of 2009. Crunchyroll has been streaming both anime outside Japan since March of 2009. Viz Media will publish the 14th volume of Yuki Kure's manga version of La Corda d'Oro in North America in September. Section23 Films released La Corda D'Oro - primo passo in two DVD collections last year.
