Monochrome Factor Manga to End in Japan in June
posted on by Egan Loo
The June issue of Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Avarus magazine is announcing on Saturday that Kaili Sorano will end her Monochrome Factor manga in the next issue on June 15. The story follows a slacker high school student named Akira Nikaido who becomes a shin, a supernatural being, to restore the balance between our world and the shadow world.
The manga launched in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade Masamune in 2004, but after that magazine ended in 2007, the manga moved to Monthly Comic Blade Avarus (now known as Monthly Comic Avarus). Tokyopop published the first four of the 10 current volumes of the manga in North America. The manga inspired a 2008 television anime series from director Yuu Kou and the studios GENCO and A.C.G.T.
The June issue of Monthly Comic Avarus is launching Furumachi Miyoshi's Kekkō na Otemae desu. manga. The July issue will run the launch of Matsushi-Gura's manga series Shiroman and the end of Mei Noguchi's Finlandia -Santa Yōsei Gakkō- manga.
