The Japanese publisher Kodansha announced the results of its 35th Annual Manga Awards on Thursday.
Best Children's Manga

Honto ni Atta! Reibai-Sensei
Serialized in Monthly Shōnen Rival (Kodansha)
(Being adapted into a television anime series)
Best Shōnen Manga

Shingeki no Kyojin
Serialized in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine (Kodansha)
Best Shōjo Manga

Chihayafuru
Serialized in Be Love (Kodansha)
Best General Manga

March comes in like a lion
Serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha)

Uchū Kyōdai (Space Brothers)
Serialized in Morning (Kodansha)
(Being adapted into a live-action film)
The winners will be honored in a ceremony on July 5 at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward. Each winner will receive a certificate, a bronze statue, and 1 million yen (about US$12,000). Inazuma Eleven, Ace of Diamond, Kuragehime, and Giant Killing won last year's awards.
