posted on by Egan Loo
The North American home video distributor Discotek Media announced on Monday that it licensed the D.N.Angel television anime series. The 26-episode action comedy follows a 14-year-old boy named Daisuke Niwa who tries to declare his love to the girl of his dreams but fails. Instead, whenever he thinks about the girl, he transforms into the legendary phantom thief known as Dark Mousy.
The anime studio Xebec adapted Yukiru Sugisaki's manga of the same name in 2003. ADV Films once released this anime in North America before its parent company A.D. Vision shut down and transferred its assets to other companies in 2009. Tokyopop published the manga in North America.
