Nozomi Entertainment, the localization division of the North American anime retailer Right Stuf, announced on Wednesday that it would release the television anime So-Ra-No-Wo-To under the English name Sound of the Sky in a single limited-edition collection on July 5. The US$49.99 volume will include a collector's art box and a 40-page book with art and staff commentary, along with the series' 12 broadcasted episodes and two specials.
Aniplex announced the So-Ra-No-Wo-To project in July of 2009. The series premiered in January of 2010 as the first anime series in Aniplex and TV Tokyo's joint Anime no Chikara project. North American media distributor Crunchyroll simulcasted the series in multiple regions, including the United States and Canada. Nozomi Entertainment announced its acquisition of the series at Anime Expo last July.
