Morita-san wa Mukuchi Has 2nd Anime Release Planned
posted on by Egan Loo
The official website for Takeshobo's Manga Club and Manga Life MOMO magazines confirmed on Monday that there will be an original video anime (OVA) adaptation of Tae Sano's Morita-san wa Mukuchi manga and added that a second anime release is planned. The four-panel manga follows the everyday life of a high school girl named Mayu Morita who is exceedingly gentle and thoughtful, to the point that she does not say much of anything to anyone.
The online retailer e-hon had already revealed that the third volume of the manga will ship with an anime DVD and a limited-edition 16-page manga booklet on February 26, 2011. Takeshobo announced through the first volume of the "Morita-san Shimbun" paper (pictured above) that an original anime DVD will also ship on March 25. The "Morita-san Shimbun" also provided the first look at the anime's early character designs, but noted that characters' uniforms have been slightly updated from the images provided.
The manga launched in Takeshobo's Manga Life magazine in 2007, but it later moved to Manga Life MOMO and Manga Club.
