The British anime distributor Manga Entertainment announced on Friday that it will release The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya film on DVD and Blu-ray Disc next summer. Manga Entertainment will also release the second television season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya along with the Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya (Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yūutsu) net anime series. Manga also announced at this past weekend's London MCM Expo that it licensed the first television season of K-ON! and the television anime Birdy the Mighty: Decode. Manga did not specify if its licenses cover both Birdy the Mighty: Decode and Birdy the Mighty Decode:02.
Beez Entertainment announced at the same convention that it licensed House of Five Leaves (Sarai-ya Goyou) and The Tatami Galaxy (Yojō-Han Shinwa Taikei). Both anime series aired in Japan on Fuji TV's Noitamina timeslot this past spring.
MVM Entertainment announced that it licensed Gonzo's The Tower of Druaga television anime. MVM did not specify if the license covers both The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk and its sequel The Tower of Druaga: the Sword of Uruk.
