Voice Actor Blake Shepard to Hold Benefit Concert

The Anime Network has announced that voice actor Blake Shepard and his band Electric Attitude will be performing a benefit concert on August 26 at the event venue Walter's on Washington in Houston. Other bands slated to perform are The Live Lights, Young Girls, Roky Moon & Bolt, and the Sideshow Tramps.
The benefit was created after Shepard's sister, Mareshah, was critically injured by a drunk driver while crossing Washington Avenue at Thompson Street, an intersection near Walter's on Washington. Due to Washington Avenue's redevelopment over the years, the lack of safety measures for pedestrians has been a ongoing issue for local citizens.
The hope for the benefit concert is to help the family with medical bills and rehabilitation, as well as raise awareness about a need for crosswalks and other public safety measures on Washington Avenue.
