posted on by Heather Skinner
The North American anime distributor Funimation began streaming the first two English-subtitled episodes of the 2008 Ga-Rei: Zero supernatural television anime series on its YouTube channel on Thursday. Funimation has yet to officially announce its license for this anime.
Ga-Rei: Zero adapts Hajime Segawa's The Enchained Spiritual Beast Ga-Rei manga series about the Japanese Ministry of Defense's anti-paranormal special forces group called the Paranormal Disaster Countermeasure Headquarters (PDCH). This organization is responsible for protecting the country and its civilians from supernatural and paranormal events. A girl named Kagura works in PDCH in her hunt for supernatural creatures.
