Japan's Animation DVD Ranking, July 12-18

The two One Piece Log Collection DVDs ranked #2 and #3 on Oricon's overall weekly DVD chart, and #1 and #2 on the weekly anime DVD chart. Those are the highest rankings that The One Piece franchise has achieved to date. The previous One Piece record holder was One Piece: Karakuri Shiro no Mecha Kyohei, which placed #7 when it shipped in July of 2006. The Log Collection "East Blue" DVD covers the first 17 episodes, while the Log Collection "Sanji" DVD covers the next 13 episodes.
AKB48's Nogashita Sakana-tachi Single Video Collection dropped from #1 to #9.
