Kowarekake no Orgel Dōjin Anime Video Expanded as Film
posted on by Egan Loo
The official website for the dōjin (self-published) anime video Kowarekake no Orgel is redirecting to a new site for a theatrical anime version, which will open in Tokyo and Osaka on September 11 and 18, respectively. The movie will feature new added animation and "Blu-ray quality" footage. The actual film will be 34 minutes long, but it will be shown with an original side-story short which will be 7 minutes and 30 seconds long. Tickets went on sale on Sunday with a bonus CD single that includes the full version of the anime's theme song.
Moetan creator Pop self-produced the original anime video with director Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Moetan, Zettai Karen Children) and writer Shinichi Inotsume (Hayate the Combat Butler, Nyan Koi!). Kawaguchi already revealed, on the Nico Nico Douga streaming website's live Toriaezu Namachū program in March, that work began on a Kowarekake no Orgel side story with POP.
