Kuroshitsuji II, Ōkami-san TV Anime to Debut on July 1

posted on by Egan Loo

The official website of the Kuroshitsuji television anime has confirmed that the new Kuroshitsuji II season will premiere on Osaka's MBS station on July 1. Fans living in Tokyo can see the first Kuroshitsuji II episode at the same time it premieres in Osaka via a special simultaneous screening in the Shinjuku Milano 1 theater. The episode is set one year and three months after the shocking finale of the first season.

Yen Press publishes Yana Toboso's original manga under the name Black Butler in North America, and Funimation announced in March that it licensed the first season.

The official site of the Japanese anime channel AT-X has confirmed that J.C. Staff's Ōkami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi (Ōkami-san and the Seven Friends) television series will premiere on July 1 also. The anime adapts Masashi Okita's Ōkami-san romantic comedy light novel series about three high schoolers — Ryōko Ōkami ("Ōkami-san" or "Wolf"), Ringo Akai ("Akazuki-chan" or "Red Riding Hood"), and Ryōshi Morino (his name is a wordplay on "forest hunter"). The three are part of the Otogi High School Bank, a club that solves the high school's problems.
