Japan's Animation Blu-ray Disc Ranking, April 12-18

The regular edition of Takashi Yamazaki's live-action Ballad: Namonaki Koi no Uta period drama film slipped from #6 to #8, while the special collector's edition fell from #5 to #19. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi of the SMAP entertainment group starred in this historical romance based loosely on the plot of the award-winning Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi wo Yobu Appare! Sengoku Daikassen film. The live-action film adaptation of Nobuyuki Fukumoto's Kaiji gambling action manga also dropped from #7 to #11.
