The media-distribution website Crunchyroll has announced on Tuesday that it will begin simulcasting the Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru television anime series on April 11. The anime adapts the boys-love manga of the same name by Hotaru Odagiri (Only the Ring Finger Knows, Time Lag, Invisible Boy).
The "480p enhanced definition" simulcast will start on April 11 to Premium Membership subscribers, and then it will stream to everyone else for free (with advertisements) in standard definition one week later. The streams are available in North America, South America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Middle East, and Africa.
The manga has been running in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Asuka magazine since 2005, and the seventh compiled book volume shipped in Japan last month.
