Kachō no Koi Boys-Love Gag Manga Gets Flash Anime DVD
posted on by Egan Loo
The Liverpool production company is releasing an original Flash anime adaptation of Kyūshū Danji's Kachō no Koi (Manager's Love) boys-love gag manga on March 26. This office romance was created by the author who Liverpool describes as the "prima donna of yaoi." The story centers on a manager named Kazuhiko Ōdakara who has spent all 33 years of his life without a girlfriend. An encounter with a new employee named Harada makes Ōdakara realize that he is gay.
Pipya (Pippuya) is directing off a script written by Susumu Mochizuki. Panda Factory is producing the 30-minute DVD in association with Jolly Roger and Dax Production. Liverpool and Panda Factory also co-produced the original Flash anime DVD for Kusame's (Reno Amagi's) Fujoshi no Hinkaku essay manga. Ryōtarō Okiayu, Hideo Ishikawa, Kenji Nojima, and Hiroshi Kamiya lend their voices for the soundtrack. Libre Publishing Co., Ltd. published the three volumes of the manga after the original publisher, Biblos, filed for bankruptcy protection.
