Crunchyroll iPhone App Now Simulcasts to Subscribers

The Crunchyroll media-distribution website has updated its streaming application for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch mobile devices to allow subscribers of Crunchyroll's Anime Membership to view simulcasted episodes.

When Crunchyroll launched the service earlier this year, the app did not offer subscribers early access to simulcasted content, even though early access has been available to subscribers through browsers on personal computers. The app did allow and still allows subscribers to bypass streamed ads before the selected content.
