Sailor Moon Creator Takeuchi Makes Bentō Class Cameo

Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: Sailor Moon creator Naoko Takeuchi made a surprise guest appearance during "Chara Bentō Kyōshitsu," the classes for creating bentō (Japanese box lunches or meals) sponsored by Animax Broadcast Japan and Imagica TV. (Animax Broadcast Japan runs the anime-centered Animax channel, while Imagica TV runs the cooking channel Foodies TV.) The rare public appearance by the manga creator marked the theme of the first classes — Usagi Tsukino and other characters from Takeuchi's Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon manga and anime.
The official website for the promotional campaign provides videos and instructions on how to make a Sailor Moon bentō.
